Safe and Ready Food Services
Continuing our history of striving to provide superior food experiences to our clients, Chef’s on Fire has implemented best of class “Safe and Ready” procedures to insure our staff and clients the smartest, healthiest, work environment.
COF is combining technology with defined policies and procedures to convert from the classic “buffet” Crafty and group production offerings to the new food on demand model for both production and Crafty food services;
1- Contactless throughout the day phone ordering by department.2- Clients select either a drop off delivery and/or department pick up model.3- Phone scheduling of delivery and/or pickup to minimize human interactions.4- Disposable individual packaging and labeling of every order.5- Software capturing of all activities for submission reporting.
To protect both our staff and clients safety;
1- On set, in studio contact tracking of all COF staff.2- Before, during and after work validated testing of all COFstaff.3- Complete PPE (personal protection equipment) for all staff.4- Advanced FDA approved microbiology on-site cleaning throughout the day.5- Microbiology cleaning of all food prep and delivery equipment and personal.
Chefs on Fire will create hot and/or cold “a la carte” mobile menu’s customized every day to each client’s specifications and budget, along with individual drink and snack services throughout the day. We provide all equipment required to meet the needs of the cast and crew on-site and/or in studio;
Chefs on Fire would like to share with you, some of the things we are doing during this unprecedented situation.
In continuation with the pristine sanitary conditions that our prep kitchens, table setups, and workspaces are known for, as a team, we have remotely gone over the proper food handling guidelines & cleansing methods in preparation of our return to our favorite place—on set with you and your team!
Upon returning to set, we will no longer be serving shared platters or bowls of food, but rather individually wrapped items for a “grab & go” experience that will improve the safety of cast & crew. Trail mix, nuts, cereal, and all other goodies will now be provided out of sealed snack dispensers to avoid contamination, while at the same time all of our compostable cutlery and supplies will be individually wrapped for each crew member—shifting from communal to personalized take-away crafty.
Gloves and masks will continue to be worn by staff, along with constant hand washing, and social distancing. No more than two people will be aboard our food trailer at a time, and we ask that only a limited amount of crew members should be present at the table at once, so that our stationed crafty employee can disinfect and cleanse every surface after each wave of crew enjoys their snack & coffee
These new and old safety measures will in no way affect the quality of the cuisine you know and love, nor will it lessen your satisfaction with our service.
As always, we aim to please, and will be happy to adhere to any additional safety measures that production implements, and hope that you and yours remain healthy and well during these trying times.
